Congratulations to five outstanding Web Writing essay proposals selected for $300 subventions
¶ 1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 Five authors of outstanding essay proposals submitted to Web Writing, a digital book-in-progress sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning at Trinity College, have been selected to receive $300 subventions to support their work. During the open call for participation, over forty essay ideas were posted on the Web Writing site to promote discussion between prospective authors and readers on how and why to incorporate web-based writing, annotating, and publishing into liberal arts teaching and learning. The Center considered many excellent proposals and gave preference to authors in greater financial need (e.g. students or faculty not in full-time, tenure-track positions).
